- Connect scan tool, retrieve codes. Check Engine Light on P2181- Cooling system performance Experienced extended crank and hard start, along with low heat Cooling low- added .5 gal and no improvement with heat. Disconnected Heater hoses from heater core and attached clear tubing. Started vehicle and noticed no coolant flow. Plastic impeller on water pump failed.
- WATER PUMP – Remove & Replace
- ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR – Remove & Replace
