- Connect scan tool, retrieve codes. P015B-00 HO2S Delayed Response Lean to Rich Bank 1 Sensor- Current P2101-00 Throttle Actuator Position Performance-Current Removed Air Cleaner to Throttle body to gain access to Throttle Body. The blade was coked up and would stick when manually pushed closed. Cleaned throttle body and performed Idle Relearn. Found Fuel trims were very negative at idle Cleaned MAF- no improvement Graphed data while test driving and found both banks were -20 to -25% at idle and would go up to -5% while driving. A common source to cause this condition would be the High Pressure Fuel Pump. It can leak, ever so slight, into the crankcase and the crankcase ventilation system will introduce the unmetered fuel vapors into the intake. The unmetered fuel will cause the PCM to trim back its strategy, so avoid over fueling. The negative fuel trims need to be corrected before diagnosing P015B code Oil was 2 quarts low Need an oil change during this repair to remove contaminated oil
- HIGH PRESSURE PUMP – Remove & Replace – V8 – [Includes: R&I Intake Manifold.]
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle.
